Position Summary

Individual will assist with preparation of media, preparation of basic solutions, and reagents or materials for lab assays, autoclaving glassware/other supplies, plant growth, cultivation of plants and pathogens and lab organization/cleaning. Individual will assist with basic lab protocols as requested.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of media, amended media, basic solutions, assist with plant growth, reagents and cultivation of plants and pathogens as established by lab protocols. (30%)
• Assist with cleaning and sterilization/autoclaving of pipette tips, glassware, beads, and other supplies as requested (30%)
• Assist with labeling and organization/cleaning of lab (20%)
• Assist with basic lab procedures/protocols (20%)
