Indiana State University's Bailey College of Engineering and Technology is accepting applications for a Lab Technician.

This position designs, develops, and maintains laboratory equipment to support instruction and research excellence across the College. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating activities in all BCET labs, ensuring equipment is functional and operational, and serving as a technical advisor for faculty and students. The Lab Technician will coordinate with vendors for repairs and purchases, build instructional aids and safety features, and maintain or install specialized equipment in areas such as flight simulators, CNC machines, 3D printers, robotics, electronics, and other engineering and technology labs.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 5-8 years of related experience OR an Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience.
