We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Manager I to join the del Mármol Lab in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School. At the del Mármol Lab, we are deciphering the molecular logic of the sense of smell using cutting-edge structural biology (cryo-EM), electrophysiology and neurophysiology. Our ultimate goal is to uncover how insect vectors of disease—like mosquitoes—detect their human hosts, and use these insights to develop mechanisms of disease control. This is an excellent opening for someone looking to establish themselves long-term in a lab management role — whether you are an experienced lab manager ready to grow, or a senior research technician looking to take that next step and transition into lab management. The del Mármol Lab focuses on the molecular mechanisms of sensory processing, with an emphasis in understanding the sense of smell in insect vectors of disease. We offer a dynamic and collaborative environment where your contributions will have a meaningful and lasting impact.
