We are currently looking for Lecturers to join our new legal training team, as part of our ongoing growth and development.
About You:
You will be qualified to postgraduate level in English Law. A PhD in Law and/or legal practice experience is welcome but not essential.
Ideally, you will hold FHEA or an equivalent teaching qualification. However, we are prepared to support the successful candidate in obtaining a recognised HE teaching Qualification and Advance HE Fellowship at the appropriate level.
You should be able to teach content across an LLB curriculum including the foundations of legal knowledge and advocacy. This includes all modules linked to the SQE 1 and SQE 2 curriculum.
We would like to speak to lecturers who have experience in delivering topics related to:
- Chartered Legal Executive Level 6 and Level 7
- Conveyancing level 4 Legal technician
- Advanced Paralegal Level 5
You must be driven, organised and able to manage a demanding job role to help individuals further their career. We are looking for someone that is ambitious and can share their expertise to mentor young people and adults in the legal sector.
Essentials
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Significant experience within a law firm
- Legal Qualification - Level 7 and above
- Previous work as a solicitor or legal practitioner
- Creativity and passion to create new teaching resources
- A desire to support and develop young people and adults
- Attention to detail
- Competent in the use of IT - Teams and Zoom
What will we offer?
- £38,000 - £42,000pa
