Job Title: Lead Career Services Specialist – Undergraduate Careers
Department: Fisher College | Career Services
Leads career coaching team consisting of full-time staff and peer career consultants offering career services to 9,000+ undergraduate business students in the Fisher College of Business. Develops relationships with faculty, employers, students, and student organizations to support student engagement and employment opportunities. Supports all aspects of the Office of Career Management’s efforts in preparing students for professional opportunities and interacting with employers, assisting them in hiring Fisher students. Engages with colleagues and partners within Fisher and Ohio State, as well as regionally and nationally, to support undergraduate student career development and employment outcomes success.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in higher education, business administration, human resources, or a related field of study. 6 years’ experience in career services, human resources, or other related field. Ability to facilitate opportunities for engagement between industry partners, faculty, students, and other units at the university; Ability to work independently and lead a team; Metrics and results-driven; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective program development plans; Possesses excellent verbal, written, and visual communications skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree or equivalent education and experience in higher education, business administration, human resources, or a related field of study. Experience working with business students in a university setting. Strong understanding of investment banking and consulting recruitment and experience conducting case interviews with students.
Additional Information: The target hiring range for this job profile is $58,700 – 77,200. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
