Accountabilities:

1. Market Benchmarking of compensation & Benefits locally and regionally:
2. a. Conduct market benchmarking with reputable benchmark data
3. b. Provide expert inputs and joint recommendations during benchmarking exercise
4. Review current compensation and benefits & recommend new plans and schemes: To ensure consistency and relevance of existing plans and schemes and to recommend new plans & schemes based on relevance and market benchmarking.
5. Implement new compensation plans and benefit schemes: To support the Compensation & Benefits Strategy.
6. Align HR policies and processes to support the Compensation & Benefits strategy.
7. Workflow Optimisation and Digitalisation: Engage stakeholders to conduct reviews and experimentation of workflow automation for compensation and benefits review, benchmarking and implementation.
8. Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Plan and manage the annual budget of the Department. Prioritise the allocation of resources to achieve department's objectives within the approved budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

a) Academic Education/Experience/Training

• Degree in HRM or degree in other discipline with post graduate HRM qualification.

b) Experience

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in HRM with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role with compensation & benefits specialisation
• Well versed in the following :
• o Compensation & benefits including salary/benefits benchmarking
• o Singapore Employment Act.
• o Singapore Trade Union Act
• o Standard HR policies, procedures and functions (i.e. compensation & benefits schemes etc.)
• o Workmen’s Compensation Act

c) Personal Attributes

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
• Able to exercise flexibility through creativity yet maintains a fair approach in problem solving and execution of processes, policies etc.
• Meticulous with an eye for numbers & details
• Team Player
• Service oriented
