Remuneration: $135,483 to $153,562 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $114,485 to $129,761 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Lead, Strategic Partnerships to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.

The Lead, Strategic Partnerships role is responsible for maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with a variety of suppliers, vendors and partners that deliver end user technologies and services to QUT. The role will ensure the services delivered by these partnerships are effective, efficient, and delivering value to the business. The Lead, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for monitoring the partnered services, providing reporting to senior executives and stakeholders, and ensuring these managed services and contracts are delivered within budget. The role will lead formal vendor relationship meetings and engagements and will work across DBS teams to ensure these arrangements are aligned to digital roadmaps and strategy. As the Lead you will be across new and emerging technologies and will seek opportunities for DBS and QUT to be a partner of choice with external suppliers, delivering highly valued, modern and contemporary digital capabilities.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of postgraduate qualifications or progress towards post graduate and extensive experience in relationship management roles.
  2. Demonstrated experience managing a diverse range of contracts and managed IT services, including negotiating contract terms with vendors, delivering within budget and forecasting future spend.
  3. Demonstrated ability to engage with internal stakeholders, understand their current and future needs, and create new opportunities for external partners to work with QUT to meet these business requirements
  4. Proven written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated experience in writing business cases, procurement documentation, and requests for market tenders.
  5. Demonstrated awareness of market and sector trends, with demonstrated experience implementing emerging and innovative technologies in a complex environment
