The Lead Water Distribution and Collection Specialist performs skilled journey-level plumbing work including installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of water, gas, steam, sewage, fire prevention, and refrigeration systems. Duties include troubleshooting and testing systems (including backflow devices), assembling and installing pipes, valves, and fittings, managing lab utilities, estimating project costs and materials, inspecting work for code compliance, and maintaining tools, equipment, and records.
