Leadership Annual Gifts Officer, The Penn Fund

Position Overview

The Leadership Annual Gifts Officer will cultivate, solicit, and steward undergraduate alumni for leadership-level annual gifts ($2,500 and above), including endowed scholarships. Reporting to the Director of Leadership Annual Gifts, the officer will manage a portfolio, conduct donor visits, and collaborate across teams to meet fundraising goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 200 undergraduate alumni prospects with giving capacity ($2,500-$100,000).
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts through personalized engagement.
• Conduct at least 180 individual donor visits per fiscal year.
• Meet or exceed annual solicitation goals.
• Tailor strategies with prospect managers.
• Solicit multi-year commitments.
• Identify and qualify new prospects.
• Partner with major gift officers.
• Maintain accurate records in donor databases.
• Collaborate with colleagues and represent The Penn Fund at events.
• Support other departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science and 1-2 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields. Demonstrated success in relationship-based solicitation, strong communication skills, and experience with donor databases. Ability to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.

Salary and Benefits

Pay range: $49,500.00 - $65,000.00 annually. Benefits include health insurance, tuition assistance, retirement plans, and more.
