About the role

The Learning Enhancement and Support (LE&S) Coordinator plays a key role in providing high-level administrative support to the Director of LE&S and ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the department. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent organisational skills, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to supporting student learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

Providing administrative support to the Director of LE&S, including diary management, budget tracking and resourcing.

Managing incoming phone calls ensuring correspondence are passed on to the Director of LE&S.

Ensuring student information is collected and stored confidentially and privacy of school information is safeguarded.

Management of student files, copying and filing of correspondence as required.

Organisation and distribution of general communications with parents and the school community on eVI news, parent homepages and via email.

Work with the VCE Office to schedule and oversee the administration of Special Provisions for assessments and examinations in the Senior Years. Including data entry, supervision of exams, scheduling and any other duties as needed.

Updating student data (Years 5–12) in Synergetic in collaboration with the Database Manager.

Manage and oversee the Senior Years Academic Coaching Program. Including maintaining the booking systems, tracking student attendance, supervision of the Learning Commons and liaising with other Co-ordinators to ensure rostering efficiencies.

About you:

Ability to contribute to an inclusive, dynamic and productive environment;

Strong sense of confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion in handling student and school information at all times;

Demonstrated experience with rostering, timetabling, and attendance records.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Proactive, organised, and solution-focused, with strong digital literacy skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Current VIT registration or a current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or capacity to obtain).

Relevant qualification in administrative support, education support, or health and wellbeing of children and young people.
