Job Description

The Health & Wellbeing (Office of the President) is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes which support the NUS population of staff and students, and, and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes that support the NUS population of staff and students, as well as communities beyond.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Learning Facilitator to join our Growth & Partnerships Team (GPT), specifically to support the delivery of our Health and Wellbeing programmes to partner organisations. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in psychological resilience training and a keen interest in strengthening mental and emotional wellbeing across diverse learner groups.

Candidates should bring facilitation and curriculum design experience, paired with strong communication, stakeholder management, and consultative abilities. As the Health & Wellbeing Office continues to evolve, additional responsibilities may be assigned to support new initiatives, organisational priorities, or emerging capability-building needs.

Job Description and Abilities:

  • Learning Design & Input
    • Assess learning needs and context during programme preparation
    • Assist in building and refining training content that incorporates best practices and current research in resilience, psychology, and adult learning.
    • Customise modules to address the needs of specific learner groups.
    • Develop training materials, slides, and visual aids.
  • Training and Delivery:
    • Deliver engaging and high-quality resilience training sessions for the Singapore Military and other Health & Wellbeing programmes
    • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring a high level of participant engagement and interaction, and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Tailor training content to align with specific organizational needs and participant backgrounds, adapting training delivery to meet the learning needs of participants
    • Share insights and practical applications during training sessions
    • Support programme operations, logistics, and communications where required
  • Learner Management and Assessment
    • Marking of assignment submissions and learner follow up.
    • Provide one-on-one coaching and learner support.
  • Assessment & Evaluation
    • Support the evaluation of training programmes by collecting and analyzing participant feedback.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve training content and delivery methods of the Resilience Training Programmes.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in resilience training and military psychology.
    • Collaborate with other trainers, psychologists, and subject matter experts to enhance programme content.
    • Incorporate new techniques and insights into the training programme.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Engage and support stakeholders during programme development and delivery.
    • Coordinate with guest speakers and subject matter experts to enhance programme content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, comms & new media, or related fields. Master’s level candidates are welcomed.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in delivering psychological resilience training programmes, minimum 5 years of relevant experience in adult education or L&D
