Position Description:
100% Teaching undergraduate course in Agricultural Education. Work includes creating a syllabus, delivering lectures, grading student work, coordinate and evaluate student projects, advise and mentor students in the class.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Agricultural Education or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate credits in Agricultural Education if not the primary discipline.
- Licensed Teacher Coordinator of Work-Based Learning and/or CASE-certified.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and advising postsecondary and adult learners, including effective use of traditional, hybrid, and online instructional technologies.
- Proven innovation and leadership in teacher preparation, professional development, and curriculum design.
- Strong record of interdisciplinary collaboration and engagement with diverse learners, stakeholders, and outreach initiatives.
Unit Description:
The Division of Agricultural Education, Communication, and Marketing (AECM) supports the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Science’s (CFANS) and the University of Minnesota’s land-grant mission through its teaching, research, and outreach programs. AECM’s teaching programs include Bachelor of Science degrees in Agricultural Education and Agricultural Communication and Marketing and Ag Ed Master’s program leading to teacher licensure.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $14,000 ; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
