Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the Organizational Behaviour/Human Resource Management (OB/HRM) area
The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for two one-year Limited Term Appointment positions, at the rank of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the Organizational Behaviour/Human Resource Management (OB/HRM) area. These positions will commence September 1, 2026. The home campus of the positions is in Waterloo. The positions are subject to final budgetary approval.
Anticipated Salary Range: $89,919 to $125,000. Actual salary to be commensurate with experience.
The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching core and elective OB/HRM courses in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, with a regular teaching load of 6 courses, and engaging in service activities for the OB/HRM area.
Qualifications for these appointments include:
- A PhD (or near completion) with an emphasis in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, or related discipline;
- Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate (MBA) levels;
- Demonstrated ability to teach a broad range of OB/HRM courses;
- Willingness and capacity to teach in any term as may be needed;
- Demonstrated ability to deal with student management issues;
- Verifiable capacity to work as part of a faculty teaching team;
- University-level teaching experience in business or related disciplines;
- Willingness and capacity to take on substantial service responsibilities;
- Strong commitment to collegiality.
