The University of Plymouth is seeking a Lecturer or Associate Professor in Law with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, LawTech, digital regulation, or related fields. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and innovation across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, helping to advance technology-enabled legal education.
Applicants should have a professional legal qualification or PhD in Law (or equivalent experience), alongside significant professional experience in areas such as AI and law, legal technology, legal automation, cyberlaw, digital regulation, or data governance. Experience engaging with external partners, including law firms, LawTech companies, regulators, and professional bodies, is desirable.
Based on campus in Plymouth (homeworking is not available for this role), the position offers the opportunity to contribute to interdisciplinary research and support students in developing skills for a rapidly evolving legal sector.
