In accordance with the The Competitive Hiring Process Code of Charles University, the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Charles University announces a competitive hiring process with a deadline for applications October 03, 2026
The lecturer will lead practical courses „Praktikum z fyziologie roslin“, „Anatomie a fyziologie rostlin“, „Růst a vývoj rostlin“, „Biologie buňky“, and possibly others according to the department’s needs; coordinate the practical courses schedule; prepare study materials for practical courses. Between semesters, the role will also involve helping to organise thesis defences, promoting the department and other similar activities.

Qualifications We are looking for candidates with a PhD in plant biology and demonstrable experience of several years in teaching practical courses focusing on plant physiology, plant anatomy and cell biology. Experience in other types of teaching and science communication is considered an advantage.
