Post Summary
Applications are invited for the above post in the School of Medicine. The successful candidates will play a key role in teaching, research, and leadership.
The successful candidate will:
- Support the delivery of the 2-year MSc in Diagnostic Radiography and MSc Radiation Therapy programmes
- Teach and coordinate elements of the postgraduate MSc in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy online
Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Diagnostic Radiography or related disciplines
- Ideally a PhD or equivalent
- Applicants without a doctorate should be prepared to embark on a research trajectory including publications and the completion of a PhD
Duties Include:
- Practice education coordination
- Research-led clinical and classroom teaching
- Development of new course offerings
- Research supervision
- Participation in discipline, school, and college committees
Location: Primarily in-person at University College Cork, Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, Cork

Salary
Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) Salary Scale:
- Scale B: €42,602 - €73,177
- Scale A: €44,669 - €69,631
Salary placement on appointment will comply with public sector pay policy.
