Job Summary
The Department of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy at Georgia College and State University invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer position in Chemistry to begin August 2026. This position will teach courses in the first-year chemistry sequence in studio-lab format, organic chemistry and physical science for education majors at the undergraduate level.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Terminal degree in a closely related field. Must meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements as stated in C.S. 3.7.1 (www.sacscoc.org (faculty credentials)).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with active learning pedagogies.
- Experience supervising laboratory assistants.
- Instructor of record for college level classes in the related discipline.
