Position Overview

Printmaking Instructor

Associated Faculty in Art will teach Introduction to Relief and Intaglio. This course introduces students to traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques with an emphasis on relief and intaglio processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in printmaking methods and posses a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate level.

The course takes place in autumn 2025 semester on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:55 to 6:40pm in Hopkins Hall and TBD for spring 2026 semester.

Performance Objectives

Help students achieve the following goals

  • Develop students in Introduction to Relief and Intaglio, covering techniques such as woodcut, linocut, etching, drypoint, and acquaint.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in studio settings and facilitate discussions on historical and contemporary printmaking practices.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required: MFA in Fine Art, teaching experience in teaching printmaking to undergraduate students..
