Lecturer Digital Marketing
Job Summary
The Amsterdam Business School invites applications for a teaching position in the department of Marketing. The appointment is for a full-time or part-time position as (Senior) Lecturer in Digital Marketing. Candidates will coordinate, design, and deliver courses in BSc, MSc, and executive programs, with a preferred start date of 1 August 2025.
Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and teach Digital Marketing courses in BSc, MSc, and executive programs.
- Supervise BSc and MSc thesis projects and mentor students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to innovate and enhance the curriculum.
- Engage in departmental and faculty events.
- Stay up to date with industry and academic developments in Digital Marketing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- PhD or nearly completed PhD degree in marketing or a related discipline.
- Ample experience with digital tools, platforms, and data-driven marketing.
- Demonstrated excellent teaching skills at undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate levels.
- Proven track record of innovative education development.
- Ability to teach in Dutch and English.
What the Employer Offers
Employment for a period of one year with a two-month probationary period, starting preferably on 1 August 2025. If suitable, extension or permanent employment is possible. The position is full-time (38 hours per week), but part-time applications are encouraged. Salary ranges from €4,728 to €7,297 per month, depending on experience, plus benefits such as 29 days' holiday, excellent work facilities, reimbursement of commuting expenses, pension accrual, and opportunities for professional development.
