About the Department
The Department of Education Leadership, Policy, and Human Development (ELPHD) comprises 40 full-time faculty members and more than 750 students. ELPHD advances education through scholarship, leadership, and advocacy.
Essential Job Duties
The Department of Education Leadership, Policy, and Human Development (ELPHD) in the College of Education is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer – Professional Track Faculty (part-time) for the 2026 – 2027 Academic Year. Professional track Faculty positions do not carry rank and are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal.
Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses on the undergraduate or graduate curriculum, depending on the department’s needs. Teaching is in Educational Leadership.
This position will remain open through the end of the academic year; however, we will be screening applicants on an ongoing basis.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Doctoral degree in K12 Educational Leadership required
- Principal Licensure required
Other Required Qualifications
- Excellent teaching ability.
- A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.
Preferred Qualifications
- College teaching experience.
- Demonstrated Experience in Educational Leadership

- Principal Licensure
