- Base Salary, Academic Level B $127,436 - $151,328 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The School of Mathematics and Statistics is currently seeking a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics who will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning design, delivery, and evaluation in pure mathematics while continuing to build research contribution, expertise, connections, and impact.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- work closely with other School members in dynamical systems, computational mathematics, or related areas
- conduct high-quality research in dynamical systems, computational mathematics, or related areas
- teach graduate and undergraduate courses in applied mathematics for students from different disciplinary backgrounds
- supervise and coordinate graduate and undergraduate students
- apply for external funding.
About you
