The position involves teaching, assessment, and academic support in areas such as (but not limited to) industrial automation systems, control engineering, mechatronics, robotics, industrial electronics, and smart manufacturing technologies.

Teaching responsibilities will be allocated annually by the Head of Department and may include lectures, laboratories, project supervision, and assessment.

The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in research and scholarly activity, contribute to programme and curriculum development, support quality assurance processes, and actively participate in the academic life and future development of the department and university.

Essential Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Automation or Control Engineering or a relevant Level 9 Programme [as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)] or equivalent.
• Three years relevant post - qualification experience (Post Level 8 Qualification experience).
