About the Role

Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Clinical and Communication Skills (0.4 FTE). This post is based within the Clinical and Communications Skills Unit teaching the next generation of doctors and healthcare professionals. The post focuses on facilitating students to acquire, apply and retain clinical and professional skills across the various medical subspecialities and will also support additional student selected components in clinical skills to complement the core MBBS curriculum. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people with experience in delivering prehospital care.

You will have a background in healthcare, experience in teaching clinical or communication skills, a good understanding of student support needs and experience of leading and managing others. One of six Institutes forming the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, the Institute for Health Sciences Education (IHSE) is responsible for the delivery of the faculty’s medical degree programmes.
