Our research spans medical sociology, the sociology of crime, gender, migration, poverty and environment, drawing insights from sociology and social anthropology. Concerned with social inequalities and social justice more generally, our research makes a real difference in the world; we work with third sector organisations and policy makers at the local, right through to the international level.
