About the Role

We are currently seeking full-time Lecturers to teach as part of our HND in Digital Technologies for England (Cyber Security) programme.

As a Lecturer in Digital Technologies at Global Banking School, you will deliver modules based around Big Data, Cyber Security, Networking, Programming, IoT and more. You will develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, that will equip students with a range of key skills essential for entry into this exciting and ever-evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met
  • Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate
  • Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • You will hold a master’s degree in a relevant subject area
  • You will have previous UK HE, HND, HNC lecturing experience in the wider subject area
  • You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of two or more of the following areas: Programming and software development, Networking, & Cybersecurity IoT and emerging technologies and Business analysis and digital transformation

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice or FHEA etc.
  • Relevant PhD qualification
