About the Role:
As part of this exciting project, we are developing our engineering provision and are looking for an individual with an innovative and disruptive approach to engineering education who will develop and drive forward strategies to attract and retain a diverse range of people to our courses. The successful candidate will be committed to building curricula which will develop graduates with the skills and behaviours required by an engineer in the 21st century.
As such we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Full-time or fractional) with expertise in Electro-Mechanical Engineering to contribute to the teaching of the Engineering portfolio which includes BEng(Hons) Mechanical Engineering and Level 6 apprenticeships in Manufacturing Engineering and Electro-Mechanical Engineering. We are particularly interested in candidates with industrial experience in green technology, net zero and decarbonisation and in using innovative, industry relevant and engaging teaching techniques which focus on non-technical skills development as much as technical.
