What you will deliver:
- Coordinate POPH30003 Real World Epidemiology and POPH20002 Introduction to Epidemiology, including tutorials, assessments and teaching teams.
- Develop engaging online materials, subject resources and assessment tasks that enhance student learning and experience.
- Support students in the Public Health and Epidemiology Major, including course information and progression guidance.
- Contribute to developing and implementing undergraduate opportunities in epidemiology with the Major Coordinator and colleagues.
- Engage in scholarly activity and disciplinary research that informs curriculum design and keeps teaching current.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a PhD in epidemiology, public health or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Have demonstrated experience teaching epidemiology in higher education.
- Have coordinated subjects end-to-end, including curriculum coordination, assessment development, Canvas site management and Teaching Associate oversight.
- Have experience applying contemporary epidemiological concepts, including causal methods and directed acyclic graphs, in teaching or research.
- Have demonstrated experience in epidemiological practice and research, such as infectious disease epidemiology and study design.
- Can collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary academic teams while managing priorities and meeting agreed teaching deadlines.
