The Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion (KHP), housed in the College of Education, is comprised of 30 full-time faculty members, and offers undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs in the academic areas of exercise science, physical education, health promotion, and sport leadership. KHP serves as the academic focus for more than 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
Job Responsibilities
Pursue excellence in teaching and service. Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Teach a four-four course load (i.e., 12 credits per semester) each academic year, consisting of primarily undergraduate courses serving most of our KHP majors and minors;
- Provide support across departmental undergraduate programs;
- Provide service to the department, college, and University of Kentucky.
