Lecturer in Human Nutrition and Dietetics

The Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) is opening a recruitment process to hire a teaching-oriented professional with solid clinical experience to join the Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

What are we looking for?

A profile with advanced training and experience in clinical nutrition, capable of:

• Teaching courses such as Clinical Nutrition I and II, Eating Behavior Disorders, and foundational subjects in the biological area (Anatomy, Pathophysiology, Biology).
• Coordinating and managing the healthcare activity at our university clinic, UCAMnutrición.
• Participating in clinical simulations and active learning methodologies.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
• Official Master’s Degree in the field of Nutrition
• Being currently enrolled in a PhD program will be positively valued

Teaching experience:

Preferably more than 3 years of university teaching (not mandatory)

Clinical experience:

A top priority requirement. Extensive experience in clinical nutrition and healthcare management will be highly valued.

Other aspects that will be considered:

• ANECA accreditation (not mandatory)
• Availability to travel between campuses for teaching purposes

Type of teaching:

• In-person, during both semesters, with morning and afternoon schedules
• Collaboration with related degree programs (e.g., Podiatry)
• Participation in official master's programs with access to PhD studies
