Baylor University’s Department of Human Sciences and Design invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in Interior Design. We seek a candidate who is dedicated to advancing the field through innovative teaching and meaningful student engagement. This appointment is a non-tenure-track, renewable full-time, benefits eligible, teaching-focused position with a 6-year promotion path to Senior Lecturer for successful candidates and a 12-year promotion path to Teaching Professor for highly successful candidates. Anticipated start date of August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in both studio and lecture-based interior design courses. Teaching responsibilities will include courses such as design graphics, digital technologies, materials and finishes, and upper-level design studios. In addition to teaching and mentoring, the individual is expected to engage in service to the university, the community, and the profession.
