Salary: $117,226 – $139,207 plus 17% superannuation plus annual leave loading

About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to deliver excellence in education and research. Working within the School of Law and Justice, you will play a vital part in delivering high quality outcomes in teaching and research.
The Lecturer in Law will contribute to the planning, preparation, co-ordination and delivery of courses. They will demonstrate the capacity for independent research and an ability to secure external funding within their area of expertise and interest. The successful candidate will also focus on the maintenance and expansion of collaborations with industry partners and the development of work-integrated learning for students and research opportunities for staff.

About you
You are dedicated and forward-thinking with motivation to develop a career across research, teaching and service. You will bring an ability to teach company and commercial law, equity, criminal law or civil dispute resolution and keen to apply your knowledge to make a difference in the justice system.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Completed a doctoral degree or equivalent in Law or a related area, in addition to relevant undergraduate qualifications.
- Demonstrated record of publication or non-traditional research output in high-quality outlets.
- Demonstrated recent ability to achieve national recognition in your discipline and taking a chief investigator role in applications for external research funds.
- Skills in active supervision of honours, masters and/or Higher Degree by Research postgraduate research projects.
- Demonstrate recent ability to achieve teaching quality as indicated by internal and external surveys
- Demonstrate recent ability to contribute at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels, taking responsibility for the preparation and delivery of course modules and coordinating one or more courses, including collaboration in curriculum design and delivery where appropriate.
- Ability to efficiently perform in allocated internal roles.
