About the Role

The School of Clinical Therapies at UCC seeks an academic to deliver research-led teaching and contribute to the advancement of Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include:

• Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with a focus on mental health and/or chronic disease management.
• Supervising student projects and postgraduate research.
• Conducting and publishing high-quality research; securing research funding.
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental administration.
• Supporting accreditation processes and promoting Occupational Therapy within UCC and the wider community.

All duties must comply with health and safety requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• PhD (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy or closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching, research, and administrative experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and research supervision.
• Experience in mental health or chronic disease management is preferred.
