About the Role
The School of Clinical Therapies at UCC seeks an academic to deliver research-led teaching and contribute to the advancement of Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with a focus on mental health and/or chronic disease management.
- Supervising student projects and postgraduate research.
- Conducting and publishing high-quality research; securing research funding.
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental administration.
- Supporting accreditation processes and promoting Occupational Therapy within UCC and the wider community.
All duties must comply with health and safety requirements.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- PhD (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy or closely related field.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, and administrative experience in Occupational Therapy.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development and research supervision.
- Experience in mental health or chronic disease management is preferred.
