You will deliver and assess courses in music at undergraduate and postgraduate taught levels. Drawing on your background in musicology or music psychology, you will shape your teaching to fit into existing course structures in the Reid School of Music. You will supervise BMus and MMus dissertations in line with your prior teaching and research experience. You will also contribute to the academic administration of these programmes and assist in quality assurance and curriculum development processes.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• A PhD in a relevant discipline
• Experience of teaching, assessment, and course organisation in Higher Education
• The ability to deliver a wide range of teaching in musicology or music psychology
• The ability to deliver teaching on different methodological approaches to the study of music
• A commitment to the decolonisation of music in Higher Education

This post is part-time (24.5 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
