About the Role
About the Role
The Lecturer will contribute to the intellectual life of the School and wider institution and research field of Private Law, with an emphasis on Corporate and Company Law subjects, and contribute to other teaching activities within the Department as needed.
The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full-time, permanent appointment, with an expected start date of early-2026. The starting salary will be Grade 5-6, £51,040-£60,040 depending on experience, inclusive of London Allowance.
About You
You will have a PhD, or relevant professional qualification, or equivalent professional experience, and a track-record of high-quality research, including publications in national and international journals, with clear and ambitious plans for future research. You will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level and an understanding of student support. A higher education teaching accreditation is desirable.

The School of Law is one of eight schools in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and has two organisational units: the Department of Law and the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS). Established in 1965, the Department of Law runs thriving undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and has a well-established international reputation for innovative research.
