Lecturer in Radiation Therapy

Applications are invited for the above post in the School of Medicine. We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Radiation Therapy to join the team. The successful candidates will play a key role in teaching, research and leadership.

The successful candidates will support the delivery of the 2-year MSc in Radiation Therapy programmes and teach and coordinate elements of the postgraduate MSc in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy online.

The successful candidates will have a BSc or MSc in Radiation Therapy, or other related disciplines and would ideally have a PhD or equivalent.

Duties will include research-led clinical and classroom teaching, development of new course offerings, research, research supervision, and participation in Discipline, School and College Committees.

We expect to recruit people who are hardworking and committed to excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and research dissemination. Applicants without a doctorate should be prepared to embark on a research trajectory that includes publications and the completion of a PhD.

Salary

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Above the Bar) Salary Scale (pro rata):

• €79,185 – €102,549 (Scale B)
• €75,338 – €97,420 (Scale A)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
