About the Role
This identified position offers an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander academic to contribute to excellence in teaching and learning within the College of Medicine and Public Health. Based at the Mt Gambier campus, the Lecturer will play a key role in delivering culturally informed education in the Medicine (MD) Program and supporting multidisciplinary placement education.
- Delivering high-quality teaching and curriculum development with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health topics.
- Supporting student learning through academic counselling, innovative teaching practices, and use of educational technologies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local communities to enhance cultural safety and engagement.
- Contributing to College activities, professional development, and community service initiatives.
