About the role:
We are seeking passionate and committed academics to join our Teacher Education team, and we welcome applications from candidates interested in both Education-Focused (EF) and Education & Research (ER) career pathways.
As a Lecturer in Teacher Education, you will contribute to high-quality teaching and (where applicable) research within the discipline. You will play a key role in delivering innovative, research-informed teaching and supporting student success across a range of learning environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging teaching and assessment across face-to-face, online and blended modes
- Contribute to curriculum design, development and continuous improvement
- Undertake unit coordination and contribute to program leadership
- Support and supervise students on professional experience placements
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop contemporary teaching materials
- Contribute to research activities, including publications and grant applications (ER pathway)
About you:
You are a dedicated educator with strong, recent professional experience in a school or early childhood setting who can demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Educational technology
- Health and physical education
- Literacy and reading development
- Mathematics
- Creative and practical arts
- Educational psychology
- Early childhood development
