Duties and responsibilities
- Teaching various subjects related to youth engagement and support at different levels of higher education and in continuing education, using up-to-date teaching methods and educational technologies.
- Delivering lectures, conducting seminars and practical classes, as well as carrying out related teaching and methodological, organisational, and development activities.
- Supervising students’ research projects and theses.
- Participating in research and development activities related to young people, including NEET youth.
- Implementing projects that support the development of the field.
- Developing cooperation with other units of the university and with other Estonian universities providing teacher education.
- Continuously developing one’s teaching and supervision skills as well as competencies in research and development.
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
- Candidates must be qualified to teach the subjects of their field as well as supervise students.
- It is required that candidates have various experiences related to research and have published high quality research articles (ETIS 1.1., 1.2., and 3.1.) related to youth engagement and support.
Required language skills
Excellent command of English and Estonian.
