As a Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Pathology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional clinical pathology services and education within the Melbourne Veterinary School. You will contribute to the training of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students, participate in diagnostic services, and engage in associated administrative duties. This role offers you the chance to shape the future of veterinary clinical pathology education while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
- Curriculum Development: Design and develop curriculum in veterinary clinical pathology to complement existing strengths.
- Teaching and Learning: Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and seminars, providing academic mentoring and support.
- Student Supervision: Oversee student research projects, ensuring timely completion and effective guidance.
- Clinical Pathology Services: Contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical pathology services to the school and external parties.
- Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff, including residents in clinical pathology and other disciplines.
You are an experienced veterinary professional with a passion for education and a commitment to delivering exceptional clinical pathology services.
- Possess a relevant postgraduate qualification in veterinary clinical pathology or a related field.
- Have experience in curriculum design, teaching, and student supervision.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Possess a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The Melbourne Veterinary School is a highly ranked veterinary school with a proud tradition of excellence in research, education, and leadership.
