Offer Description
The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and meet the following qualification criteria:
- Master's degree in nursing,
- hold a current document certifying the right to practice as a nurse,
- have at least 2 years of professional experience as a nurse,
- have the knowledge and practical skills to teach subjects including: basics of nursing, pediatrics, and pediatric nursing,
- hold a specialist title in pediatric nursing/declaration of specialization in pediatric nursing or have professional experience in pediatric nursing,
- have documented academic experience in teaching nursing,
- have/are in the process of obtaining teaching qualifications or have documented practical experience outside of higher education,
- declare their primary place of employment in University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz.
For foreign applicants, Polish language proficiency sufficient to conduct teaching is required.

Employment of an academic teacher in the teaching staff group under a fixed-term, full-time employment contract for the 2026/2027 academic year (from October 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027).

Eligibility criteria
Candidates entering the competition are required to submit the following documents:
- a job application,
- a declaration of consent to the processing of personal data (Appendix 1),
- a personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment (Appendix 2),
- a curriculum vitae,
- copies (photocopies) of diplomas confirming their education (originals available for review before signing the contract),
- documents confirming professional experience,
- a declaration of compliance with the requirements of Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Appendix 3),
- copies of certificates and additional attestations,
- a declaration that the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz will be their primary place of work within the meaning of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Appendix 4),
- a declaration of receipt of information about the internal procedure for reporting violations of law and taking follow-up actions at the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz (Appendix 5).
Documents must be signed by hand or bear a certified electronic signature.
Selection process
Documents should be submitted in person or sent to the University's address: Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Nowy Sączu, ul. Staszica 1, 33-300 Nowy Sącz, General Secretariat, room 01. The envelope should be marked "Konkurs nr 13 na stanowisko wykładowcy (k/m) na WLZ" or sent to kadry@ans-ns.edu.pl with the subject line: "Konkurs nr 13 na stanowisko wykładowcy (k/m) na WLZ."
The deadline for submitting documents is September 1, 2026 (the date of receipt at the University will be decisive). The competition will be decided by September 8, 2026. Information about the results, along with the justification, will be published in the University's Public Information Bulletin and on the website of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
Additional comments
The selection committee reserves the right to interview candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. Applications that do not meet the formal requirements or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered. The selection process may be canceled without providing a reason. The selection result does not constitute employment for the candidate; it only serves as a recommendation to the Rector in this regard. The Rector makes the final decision regarding employment.
