Lecturer (Management and Entrepreneurship)
Job Description Summary
The Auburn University Harbert College of Business seeks applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track, full-time teaching faculty position in Management and Entrepreneurship starting in January 2026. The contract is renewed annually based on need, funding, and performance.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility is to teach departmental courses to undergraduate students. The successful candidate will bring experience, innovation, enthusiasm, and leadership to their courses. In addition to instructional duties, the candidate will perform service to the university, college, and department. Candidates with experience in strategic management and interest in teaching management in an international context are desired, as are those with management experience. The teaching load is four courses per semester, including course development and management. Salary is commensurate with experience.
About the Program: Harbert Management and Entrepreneurship conducts top-tier research in Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship. It offers an undergraduate major in management with concentrations in Organizational Leadership, Human Resources Management, and Entrepreneurship. Faculty contribute to MBA programs and a Ph.D. program. The department has seventeen tenured/tenure-track faculty and eight non-tenure-track faculty.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have a record of high-quality teaching experience and possess a master's degree or higher in business or a related discipline. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Selected candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Desired Qualifications: Candidates with doctoral degrees in business or related fields are preferred.
