Minimum Qualifications: At least a master's degree in statistics, mathematics, or applied mathematics by the time of appointment; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching; Demonstrated ability to teach a wide range of courses in mathematics and statistics including co-requisite courses; Experience teaching calculus and upper-division mathematics and statistics courses; Knowledge of WebAssign, MyLabsPlus/MyMathLab andAssessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces (ALEKS). Physical Requirements: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work. Sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
