Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering Technology - Steubenville (Term)
Teaches undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering technology. Faculty members are expected to maintain a consistent, in-person presence on location throughout the standard workweek. This includes being available on-site each day to support students, collaborate with colleagues, and participate fully in the academic life of the institution. Regular on-site engagement during normal business hours is an essential component of this role.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.

Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization Status: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications: At least a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field; and extensive knowledge in the areas of statics, dynamics, SolidWorks, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and machine design.
Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science in Engineering (MS) or Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or related field. Prior teaching experience in the areas of statics, dynamics, SolidWorks, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, robotics, numerical control and machine design. Certification in SolidWorks, robotics, and/or numerical control.
