Lecturer – Neonatal and Pediatric Nursing

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is the first national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in Qatar. It offers various programs across multiple colleges and focuses on student-centered learning.

The College of Health Sciences is seeking applications for a Lecturer in Neonatal and Pediatric Nursing starting Winter 2026.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will develop, deliver, and evaluate courses in nursing, including medical-surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, and high intensity neonatal care. They will evaluate student progress, manage learning resources in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings, liaise with industry, participate in advisory committees, and contribute to professional and community life.

Qualifications

Education: A Master’s degree in Nursing or related health field (specialization preferred). Candidates without a Master’s in Nursing must hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing and be registered nurses eligible for licensing in Qatar.

Experience: Minimum five years of recent full-time clinical practice, teaching experience in a post-secondary setting, evidence of student mentoring, use of innovative teaching methods, and leadership in teaching or curriculum development. Preference for research contributions.
