Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The School of Accountancy prepares professionals ready to use business understanding and interpersonal skills, as well as accounting expertise, to move their organizations forward. We connect theory and practice at all levels of education, in our research, and in our consultations with the business community. Our faculty are nationally recognized for their contributions to academic and professional journals, as well as their leadership roles in professional organizations. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Accounting in the School of Accountancy with a preferred start date of January 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in the area of accounting
- Quality service and other intellectual contribution components is expected
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in accounting, tax, or other accounting related field from an AACSB accredited institution is required at the time of hire
OR
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire
AND
- A current professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA) together with at least five (5) years relevant business experience (financial/managerialaccounting/auditing, etc.)
