We invite applications for a tenure-track academic position at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the field of Resource Sustainability Engineering.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A PhD from a recognized university
- An undergraduate degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- Strong potential for high-quality research and teaching
The candidate should be able to teach the following indicative courses:
- CEE 295: Protection and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources
- CEE 372: Environmental Management Systems
- CEE 394: Pollution Prevention and Environmental Remediation Technologies
- CEE 395: Solid Waste: Treatment, Management, and Material and Energy Recovery
- CEE 383: Environmental Impact Assessment
Candidates do not need to be citizens of the Republic of Cyprus, but fluency in Greek is necessary.
Our Department is based in the state-of-the-art Engineering School facilities and is part of a University ranked among the top 1,000 universities worldwide, with Environmental Engineering ranked in the 201–300 band in the Shanghai ARWU rankings.

Skills/Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in the field of Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering is required. In addition, for all academic ranks, an earned Doctorate degree from a recognized University is required.
