Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Information Systems
Join our exceptional Business School and make real impact. We are seeking academic expertise in the Information Systems (IS) discipline with a focus on Digital Transformation and/or Data Analytics. These are permanent, full-time roles based at AUT's City Campus in Auckland.

The information systems discipline features a dynamic team engaged in research and teaching, with programmes including an IS major, Master's, and PhD. We seek enthusiastic applicants to join our department, dedicated to supporting students and using digital resources to enhance learning.
Successful candidates will teach across programmes, contribute to curriculum design, advance pedagogical approaches, and develop teaching materials. Research-focused appointees will establish an active research programme, publish in their field, and pursue external funding. Teaching-focused staff will conduct pedagogical research and maintain industry relevance.

Qualifications for research-focused roles include a PhD in Information Systems or related field, teaching experience, and a solid research track record. For teaching-focused roles, a PhD or near completion is required, along with teaching experience and a commitment to professional practice.
Start dates are January or February 2026. Salary ranges: Research-focused Lecturer - $92,567 to $110,166; Senior Lecturer - $113,413 to $148,295. Teaching-focused Lecturer - $84,447 to $100,446; Senior Lecturer - $103,395 to $135,109.
