Lecturer - Paramedicine

The College of Health Sciences is seeking applications for a Lecturer in Paramedicine position.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will develop, deliver, and evaluate Paramedicine courses. They will assess student progress, manage learning resources, collaborate with faculty and industry partners, contribute to program development, participate in advisory committees, oversee projects, maintain student portfolios, and engage in curriculum development and professional activities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements: A Master’s degree in Paramedicine or related field is required, along with an undergraduate degree in Paramedicine if the Master’s is not in this area. Candidates must hold current registration as an Advanced Care Paramedic and have a minimum of five years of clinical experience and two years of teaching experience.

Scholarship and Research: A proven record of contributions through research, publications, or professional practice.

Essential Skills: Collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and proficiency in technology for teaching and research.
