Position description

The Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management (ESPM) in the Rausser College of Natural Resources at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a one-year pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses with a focus area of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management.

General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application): Advanced degree, or enrolled in an advanced degree program, at the time of application

Additional qualifications (required at time of start): Advanced degree required by the start date of the position.

Preferred qualifications: The completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree. Documented experience in teaching one of the biological sciences at the college level is strongly preferred.
