Lecturer Pool - Psychology - College of Letters & Science
The Psychology Department at the University of California, Berkeley, is seeking qualified temporary instructors to teach courses. Positions vary by semester based on departmental needs. The department is committed to an inclusive environment that supports all students.
Teaching Responsibilities: Instruct courses in areas such as graduate-level statistics, social personality psychology, applied early developmental psychology, biological psychology, cognitive neuroscience, cognition, clinical psychology, and industrial-organizational psychology. Duties include managing teaching assistants, holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials, and maintaining course websites.
Qualifications: A PhD or equivalent international degree is required by the start date. Preferred qualifications include a track record of distinguished teaching that promotes inclusive curriculum and pedagogy.
